LETTY COPPEL MEDICAL UNIT Pueblo Bonito Group, through the Letty Coppel Foundation, and following up on their social commitment to those less fortunate, in October 2006 carried out a donation of a medical unit to DIF Mazatlán (Municipal System for Integrated Family Development) so they could carry out medical studies on women of scarce resources for the early detection of cervical-uterine cancer, breast cancer and osteoporosis.
The Letty Coppel Medical Unit is located in different places of the municipality of Mazatlán where medical studies take place at very low costs and in some cases are free the unit is run by the DIF Municipal, who follows up with the patients that come back positive for cancer detection. These results are translated into the benefit of more tan 4000 people in the municipality of Mazatlán, in the last two years. With these types of activities Pueblo Bonito Group, through the Letty Coppel Foundation, will continue to contribute to the most vulnerable sectors of the society.
The delegation of Mazatlán of the Red Cross was founded in 1942 initiated by Don Luis de Alba Luna, constituting itself in the first delegation of the Mexican Red Cross in Sinaloa.
