CLEAN UP CAMPAIGNS
Currently the characteristic ways of life, give way to the production and accumulation of garbage. A large amount of daily use products come to our homes, schools or places of work. There is a large variety of these products among which we may find cans, packages, wrappers, bottles, glass objects, cardboard, etc.
The increase in population and the exaggerated consumption of unnecessary objects, almost always thrown away in a short period of time, leads to a growing demand of consumed goods, many of these are presented wrapped in paper, plastic or cardboard, to this we add the abundant paper printed advertising and distributed in to public areas and, is almost always thrown into the street. Businesses, schools and other facilities daily throw away enormous amounts of paper.
For which Pueblo Bonito Group, through the Letty Coppel Foundation, has constantly searched to maintain a balance, through the application of clean up campaigns in different cities in which these hotels are located, such as: Mazatlán Sinaloa, Los Cabos Baja California Sur and Puerto Vallarta.
These clean up campaigns are carried out since the beginning of the hotels and take place each month in different places such as streets, avenues and beaches, as well as in parks, green areas, schools, hotel areas, among others, forming a total of 12 annual clean up campaigns per hotel, as well as not only cleaning but also creating consciousness among people of the community, hotel contributors and their families, students and teachers from schools, of the problem that is being lived and the care that we must have for the environment and have it be applied in their homes.
